Berserk Theory 2017: Ragnarok Unleashed!! The Berserk manga series is loved by fans worldwide. The author, Miura, released a prototype of the anime in 1988; given how longstanding this series is, fans have been anticipating its climax. What will the fate of the beloved characters be? In this video, we discuss the series' link to Norse Mythology, as evidenced by Elfhelm (called Alfheim in Norse Mythology), Guts' injuries to his arm and eye (Odin lost and eye and Tyr lost an arm), and the existence of the wolf Fenrir who was being watched by the gods. We believe that at Berserk’s close, an event similar to Ragnarok will occur; there will be a cleansing and the creation of a new world.
